Submarine FM revient avec une création audio 3D unique, captée aux Subs à Lyon pour le festival Vogue la Nuit en complicité avec les Nuits de Fourvière. Considérée comme la relève de Four Tet ou de Aphex Twin made in France, la protégée du label Slab Note continue à partager des fragments de son univers electronica modulaire.
Après un premier album remarqué, et des clips live réalisés avec l’artiste Ocean Flounk, Submarine FM poursuit ses expérimentations sonores en délivrant aujourd’hui sur les plateformes de streaming un live totalement exceptionnel ! Réalisé aux Subs à Lyon dans le cadre des Nuits de Fourvière, ce concert a été spatialisé à 360° pour une immersion 3D audio à couper le souffle.
Le 16 juillet 2022, à l’occasion de la programmation off des Nuits de Fourvière, Submarine FM, Romane Santarelli et Odalie se produisaient aux Subs pour le festival Vogue la Nuit. Une affiche de qualité par le casting et la performance attendue. Intitulé 360° sous les mers, les concerts ont pris place dans la Boulangerie, nouvelle salle des Subs (lieu culturel emblématique de Lyon). Les lives étaient spatialisés à 360°. Pour cela l’artiste propose au public une immersion unique où chaque titre est diffusé et projeté d’une manière inédite.
La technologie utilisée est développée par Julien Pagnier de l’agence Novelty Auvergne Rhône Alpes, une société qui propose des solutions de sonorisation innovantes basées sur la spatialisation sonore. La solution utilisée ici permet un son spatialisé à 360°, piste par piste, et pilotable en live, via une tablette. Pour se faire, les artistes sont allés chez Novelty travailler dans leur studio immersif pour prendre en main la technique de ce système de sonorisation singulier. Elles ont également dû adapter leur performance pour l’occasion. Submarine FM a respatialisé chacun des éléments de son live pour les placer dans l’espace. Le résultat ? Un show augmenté et immersif qui a plongé les spectateurs dans une bulle sonore où les éléments mélodiques se déplaçaient dans l’espace. Une expérience inoubliable qui fait perdre ses repères puisque le cerveau humain est habitué à écouter de la musique en stéréo (gauche/droite).
Le live de Submarine FM, déjà sublimé par le VJing poétique de Ocean Flounk qui contrôle les visuels projetés en temps réel, devient encore plus envoûtant. Comme en témoigne UBG One « Un vrai phénomène physique se produit avec la musique de Submarine FM, on se laisse immerger (…) Le tout monte crescendo et finit par vous prendre complètement aux tripes. L’effet est réussi et forcément décuplé par la spatialisation 360°. »

After a first album noticed, and live clips realized with the artist Ocean Flounk, Submarine FM continues its sound experimentations by delivering today on the platforms of streaming a totally exceptional live! Produced at Les Subs in Lyon as part of Nuits de Fourvière, this concert has been spatialized in 360° for a breathtaking 3D audio immersion.
On July 16, 2022, on the occasion of the off program of Nuits de Fourvière, Submarine FM, Romane Santarelli and Odalie performed at Les Subs for the Vogue la Nuit festival. A poster of quality by the casting and the expected performance. Entitled 360° sous les mers, the concerts took place in the Boulangerie, the new venue of Les Subs (emblematic cultural place of Lyon). The lives were spatialized in 360°. For this, the artist offers the public a unique immersion where each title is broadcast and projected in a new way.
The technology used was developed by Julien Pagnier of the Novelty Auvergne Rhône Alpes agency, a company that offers innovative sound solutions based on sound spatialization. The solution used here allows a 360° spatialized sound, track by track, and controllable in live, via a tablet. To do this, the artists went to Novelty to work in their immersive studio to learn the technique of this unique sound system. They also had to adapt their performance for the occasion. Submarine FM respatialized each of the elements of their live performance to place them in the space. The result? An augmented and immersive show that plunged the audience into a sound bubble where the melodic elements moved in space. An unforgettable experience that makes you lose your bearings since the human brain is used to listening to music in stereo (left/right).
The live of Submarine FM, already sublimated by the poetic VJing of Ocean Flounk who controls the visuals projected in real time, becomes even more bewitching.
